Hey Mama!

Ever been happy, ever been mad, ever been worried, ever been sad? Of course you have... let’s be honest, having kids is full of big emotions! That’s why we are excited to announce the first ever WorryBug Workshop exclusively for Mamas, brought to you by Jersey City’s very own WorryWoo Monster Team! 

Join us as we discuss “Why Mamas need self-care” with Divya Dodhia, LCSW (Child & Family therapist) followed by The WorryBug Workshop by Andi Green, author and illustrator of The WorryWoo Monsters book series.


The workshop includes:

  • Lots of breathing and relaxation

  • WorryBug deflation techniques

  • A quiet atmosphere to take time for yourself 

  • Mindfulness and Chocolate (yes, seriously, we usually eat chocolate) 

  • Light bites and refreshments by @VeganSoulicious

  • A FREE copy of Don't Feed the WorryBug by Andi Green


What is not included in the workshop

  • Having to cut the crust from a sandwich

  • Negotiating with a toddler

Andi Green

 Andi Green is a bird-loving, cat-cuddling, dog-snuggling, monster-maker who started her career as a Creative Director in NYC. She is the writer and illustrator of the award-winning series The WorryWoo Monsters. The books are loved by children and parents alike.  Hundreds of schools in the US, Canada and Australia have implemented the WorryWoos Curriculum for Developing Social & Emotional Intelligence.

 Andi’s work has been seen in print and television nationwide including Good HouseKeeping Magazine, Parents Magazine and the Today Show. Green’s WorryWoos have made two theatrical debuts Off-Broadway in Monsters In My Head- A WorryWoo Musical.

 Andi’s goal of helping children embrace their emotions—one monster at a time— has made its way into schools worldwide with the WorryWoo Developing Emotional Intelligence Cross Curricular Program. This first-of-a-kind- program incorporates emotions into the main classroom as well as the art, music and drama rooms.

 

Divya Dodhia

 Divya Dodhia, LCSW, is a therapist specializing in counseling for children and families. Divya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey, with a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University, and Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Windsor, Canada. Divya has over 15 years experience as a therapist and developmental interventionist at Newark Beth Israel Hospital, YWCA of Union County, Hudson Milestones, Trinitas Hospital and Jersey City Medical Center.

Divya’s background also includes providing individual and group therapy to adults and children with mental health issues, and survivors of domestic violence. Divya’s therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Coaching, Eclectic Therapy, Family Therapy, Marital Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Narrative and Relative Therapy.
